« Back then, Beirut seemed to be constantly adorned for a party that would never end. » The Libanese designer of the Maison Elie Saab, wanted to bring out the silhouettes of the clothes enriching them with preciousness , pastel colors ( typical Saab ) , feathers , transporting us to a magical world back to the 60´s : the Beirut’s golden age .
For the first time we see appear in his collection the prints , because the designer wanted to dedicate this collection to its past. A picture of his mother wearing a dress with tulip prints inspired his collection Haute Couture ! This, could only take place in a location enchanted by the chirping of birds and by a garden of wonders .
We were there to admire the enchanting show , that took place in Paris at the Palais de Chaillot .
