An army of celebrities was at the New York Dior show on Wednesday, when artistic director Raf Simons presented his new Cruise Collection 2014-2015. Rihanna, Marion Cotillard, Laetitia Casta, Sydney Toledano, Adele Exarchopoulos, Chiara Mastroianna… they were all sitting in the front row to attend this glamorous event that marks the start of a series of upcoming cruise shows. The energy displayed in this new, light and urban collection was a perfect match for the breeze of fresh air going through the city from the Atlantic coast. As Raf Simons sums it up nicely: « There is energy in the daily outfits of American ladies, it is very much alive here. »
