As of December 15, 2016, CHANEL reopens its boutique of Printemps Haussmann and unveils a space completely rearranged on three levels in the heart of the famous department store in Paris. As an unteasing * and a call to visit this new place, an outdoor showcase is entirely devoted to the House.
This winter, CHANEL brings together its three areas -mode, accessories and jewelery-from the Spring and transforms them into a real shop of 160 m2 deployed on three levels connected by an internal staircase in thassos. It was the architect Peter Marino who was entrusted with this original creation presenting showcases on each floor. Behind the lacquered facade, the floor alternates marble, parquet and carpet of woven wool. The walls, meanwhile, mix lacquer and noble fabrics.
Main access of this new shop, the ground floor presents the collections of Prêt-à-Porter, punctuated by some accessories and pieces of leather goods. A glance at the friendship that always binds the artists to CHANEL, the advertising poster CHANEL N ° 5 which took over the famous work of Andy Warhol of 1985 answers a contemporary work, inspired by the camellia so dear to Mademoiselle, signed Peter Dayton. An elegant decor with two lamps in bronze, hammered metal, crystal and lava stone designed by Delos & Umbiedos designers.
At the lower level, called the lower ground floor, shoes, iconic and seasonal bags, glasses and small leather goods rub shoulders with a selection of watches Première, J12, Mademoiselle Privé and BOY.FRIEND and naturally find their place in this decor with refinement typically Parisian and timeless modernity. The first floor is devoted to all the collections of watchmaking, jewelry and fine jewelry. Continuing with the codes of CHANEL, this space is embellished by a work of art by Paola Pivi: all fringed with pearly and golden pearls, it reminds the necklaces that Gabrielle Chanel always wore in accumulation on her jersey sweaters and jackets tweed. Once again, CHANEL innovates by imagining this large space in the style of a private visit, away from the crowd.
