The kickoff of the tour‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’
will be given
September 8, 2018

in the United States and will consist of over 300 shows on 5 continents. It will begin in North America and continue in Europe, Asia, South America and Australia and will end in 2021. These dates mark the end of a 50-year career, that of one of the most established superstars of pop culture. Elton’s new production will take its fans on a highly visual musical journey and revive half a century of hits like never before.

The ticket office is open since February 2 for the first shows. Tickets and VIP packages can be purchased directly from the official website eltonjohn.com.

The world has learned the event in the same dazzling way that has so well characterized Elton John and his creative, innovative, daring and daring strength, always ahead of his time.

It was from New York’s Gotham Hall that the tour was made public through a landmark event, broadcasted through an exceptional live VR180 broadcast live on YouTube and simultaneously to scenes in Los Angeles and London. This announcement was a real immersion in the decisive moments that constituted the inexorable flow of Elton towards superstarization. The transformation is after all part of Elton’s DNA, he brilliantly used the latest technologies to challenge space and time and connect his past and future. It has also been announced that Gucci will exclusively create Elton John’s costumes for his « Farewell Yellow Brick Road » tour . Resplendent at Gotham Hall in his tailor-made outfit, Elton shared his passion for the Italian fashion house that unveiled last year’s 2018 spring-summer collection, designed by its artistic director Alessandro Michele, and inspired by the inimitable style of Elton John while taking original pieces from his legendary archives. «
