DIOR, THE HISTORY OF HIS STITCH KNOW-HOW

THIS KNITTED BODY IN THE SPRING-SUMMER 2018 SUMMER-LOOKING COLLECTION IS BASED ON THE WORK OF NIKI FEMINIST ARTIST SAINT PHALLE.

COMPOSED OF TWENTY-SEVEN REASONS AND PACKED WITH GREEN WOOL, FUCHSIA, BLACK, YELLOW AND WRITTEN, THIS PIECE IS MADE BY FIVE PASSIONATE COUTURIERS AND REQUIRES MORE THAN NINETEEN HOURS OF WORK.

PASSING THE SKETCH LAYERED ON A WHITE SHEET TO THE MANNEQUIN CLOTHES OF THE CLOTHING, WE ARE IMMERSED IN THE UNIVERSE OF THE KNOW-HOW OF THE HOUSE DIOR.

A WORK OF THE MOST TIMELESS, FOR A STRONG WOMAN, TO THE TOTALLY ASSUMED FEMININE, WHO REGISTERS AGAIN IN THE LINE OF HIS TEE-SHIRT MESSAGE “WE SHOULD ALL BE FEMINISTS”.

RENDEZ-VOUS IN ITALY TO DISCOVER HIS KNOW-HOW.
