Givenchy, first collection for Children

Givenchy shared the first images of her first collection of children’s clothing.
The collection, which will launch in July 2017 for the fall / winter 2017 season, features mini-me versions of some of the most popular pieces on the label, a revisit of emblematic pieces of the house. The 130-piece collection includes denim and streetwear patterned bombers, as well as a selection of haute couture clothing for special occasions.

                                                                                « It’s an organic extension »,
General Manager of Givenchy, Philippe Fortunato,

The brand has received requests for children’s clothing from its celebrity clientele and for years.

« It’s not about putting the logo on a commercial product, it’s really an extrapolation of some aspect, transforming it into a very sincere and romantic way of dressing up the next generation of customers. »

By expanding into children’s clothing, Givenchy aims to attract a new demographics, while expanding the offer of the brand to its existing customer.
This unusual collection for children will be offered through more than 150 shops around the world, enough to delight parents wanting to offer their toddlers clothes worthy of the largest parades of the house Givenchy.
